The awful whiner leaving didn’t leave Andy with more chores- Kate never did anything other than whine. I’m glad she’s gone and hope she never returns. LBZ is a much better place without her.
Andy was & is a tough character. She wasn’t a mind reader & like Otto of Alaska the Last Frontier & his wife Charlotte, who @ time seems all to interested in taking a skillet upside his head, marriage in that surrounding has to draining. If yer not prepared to get down n dirty up to your elbows & sometimes bend & sway more than you think is fair, while reminding the other 1/2 to bend & sway, more, as well yer marriage is doomed! Alaska is its own animal that can be tamed never conquered. You must become part of Alaska. P.S. Abuse? Being a hard ass with a drill instructors personality, aggressiveness can be, by some people, considered abusive. Steel yourself or quit. Andy’s wife quit. He’ll, they call the lower 48 America. Nuff said!
She in my opinion was a very boring character on the show, she never really did much of anything.
You’d probably he quit and stay to yourself as much as possible if you were being abused by your hushand as well.

Agreed! I often commented to my boyfriend “I wouldn’t take that $h#T if I were her”. Just think if he treated her that badly in front of the camera & crew, how un”bear”able he was at home alone. Abuse (verbal or physical) of any person male or female should not be condoned because you are in Alaska. The state has nothing to do with it. He used her until she could take it no more….GOOD FOR YOU KATE

Two sides to every story. Who is to say she was or was not the abusser. Either way she ran.
She didn’t run. She had enough of the abuse and said, NO MORE! If you see that as running then I would imagine you’re one of those cowards that beat women.

It seems they all get a nice Pay Check from the show! apart from there other business activitys
