Well, disregard the false rumors because Chumlee is alive and well!! In fact, on May 18, 2018, he indirectly announced he’s engaged on Instagram. He posted a photo of his girlfriend rocking a pretty engagement ring with the caption, “Now you know.” Hope it’s not a hoax, otherwise congrats!
If you recall, on March 2016, police officers investigating a sexual assault claim raided Chumlee’s home and found a firearm, marijuana, and crystal meth. On a later search, Eleven firearms, 17 Xanax bars, methamphetamine, and traces of cocaine were discovered which finally led to his arrest.
Two months and a half later, Pawn Star’s Chumlee pleaded guilty to a gross misdemeanor of attempted drug possession, to a felony weapons charge; and to unlawful possession of a firearm. He was sentenced to three years probation and counseling. Now you know Chumlee From Pawnstars is not dead.

35-year-old Chumlee began working at the Gold & Silver Pawn Shop when he was 21. His television career debuted in Pawn Stars in 2009. The series portrays him as comical and the lesser intelligent of the Pawn Shop Crew. And for this reason, he’s often the subject of many jokes.
But Chumlee’s persona has paid off as he’s the most popular of the cast hence the one that makes the most merchandise sales. What merchandise? Well, he started a company that produces unique items like Chumlee-designed t-shirts and is in charge of his bookings.
He sold half of his company shares to Rick Harrison in 2010 for $155,000 so that he could efficiently meet the high increase in demand for his merchandises. And in May last year, he opened Chumlee’s Candy on the Boulevard, a candy store situated opposite Gold & Silver Pawn Shop.
In 2013 Chumlee’s salary was rumored to be $25,000 per Pawn Stars episode. And although his current salary is not known, Chumlee’s net worth is estimated to be at least $5 million.

Chumlee has been struggling with weight loss in the recent past. In 2014 he nearly lost 100 pounds when he dropped from 320 pounds to 225 pounds. But since then, this pawn star noticed his weight was increasing bit by bit.
And so after consulting with Dr. Matt Apel and the Blossom Bariatrics team, he had a gastric sleeve surgery on February 15, 2018. This Pawn Stars cast told John Katsilometes of Las Vegas Review-Journal that he aims to lose 170 pounds.
HIs house and car collection
Chumlee’s former house was a 5-bedroom and 6-bathroom Las Vegas mansion that he bought for $1.1 million in 2012. After renovating the house, he put it up for sale last July with an asking price of $1.8 million. It is not clear whether he is yet to buy a new house.
Chumlee’s stunning car collection includes a 1964 Impala SS, a Maserati GranTurismo, a Rolls Royce Phantom, a Cadillac Escalade, a Buick Regal, a Range Rover et cetera. And oh, he is also a shoe collector and owns more than 200 pairs.
