Julie Chen completed her education at the University of Southern California where she attained her Bachelor’s Degree in arts in 1991. Back in 1990, she began working as an intern in CBS Morning News along with Andy Cohen. The following year she was still in school but worked for ABC News for one year as a desk assistant. Subsequently, she was promoted to work as a producer for the next three years.
In 1992, she traveled to Dayton, Ohio where she worked as a news anchor for WDTN-TV FROM 1995 T0 1997. The beginning of 1999 to 2002, Julie was an anchor for CBS Morning News. In 2002 to 2010, she worked as a co-host for the Early Show on CBS before leaving the daily position but remained as a Special Contributor anchor for the program until it was canceled.
