In the recent past, Todd Hoffman made a shocking announcement that he is leaving the show “Gold Rush” after successfully running it for eight seasons. The show has been aired on the Discovery show ever since its inception, and Hoffman has been the face of the program. While making the announcement, Hoffman held back his tears. He sprouted out of nothingness and because of a national phenomenon. He lives a simple life; he broke out of the shell when he chose to play the risky game by playing yellowish metal.

This was a perilous move, given the financial crisis at the time. However, together with his team, they know gold wasn’t going to be affected that much, and they will reap a lot in the future.

As of 2015, his net worth was estimated to be around $2 million.
