A go-getter from the start, Duncan has always strived to be the best and focussed intensely on her career. After graduating from college, Duncan found her first news job in Elmira, New York in 2005. She was noticed when she covered the story of the search for Ralph ‘Bucky’ Phillips, the longest manhunt for a fugitive in the history of the state and 2007 was invited to join WIVB (owned by CBS) in Buffalo, New York.
It was here that Duncan won a Local Emmy Award for her coverage of the winter storm in 2008. In 2010, Duncan moved on again to KYW, a CBS-owned television station in Philadelphia. She spent three years at the station, earning a First Place from the Associated Press for a series of reports involving disabled persons and a social security scam, which also earned her an Emmy nomination.
